❤️ Candy is a beautiful, gentle soul who has never been bred.

At four years old, she experienced a single seizure. It was not violent—she remained quietly aware throughout—but it was something we took seriously. After consulting with our veterinarian, we made the decision not to take any chances with her future and had her spayed.

We have not witnessed another seizure since.

And now, Candy gets to have a different kind of story ❤️

She is quiet-minded, deeply loving, and happiest simply being near her person. She isn’t looking for a complicated life or a great big world to conquer.

Her people are her world.

Candy is the kind of dog who will settle into the rhythm of home, love her people wholeheartedly, and be perfectly content knowing she belongs.

She has spent her life with us. Now we’d love to find the person who gets to be hers ❤️

For Candy, we are looking for a Texas home only, where she can remain close enough to always be part of our extended family. We will look for a family who wants to keep us apprised of how Candy is doing and who will send occasional updates and photos of her fulfilled life with them.
