Health, Veterinary Care & Replacement Guarantee
a. This puppy is believed to be in good health at the time of placement. Each puppy is raised in our home and cared for using a thoughtful, consistent health protocol including deworming, vaccinations and daily observation.
b. The Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup. The exam establishes care with your veterinarian and confirms the puppy’s baseline health following transition into your home. Failure to comply with the 72 hour veterinarian exam by Buyer, forfeits any and all of Breeder’s health guarantees. A general wellness exam may include evaluation of eyes, ears, heart, body condition, and a fecal screening as recommended by your veterinarian.
c. The 72 hour veterinarian exam is intended to confirm the puppy’s general health at the time of placement. This does not extend or replace the health agreement. The health agreement covers serious congenital conditions that significantly impact quality of life or longevity and is valid for one (1) year from the date of birth.
d. We do not conduct additional pre-departure veterinary exams beyond our established health protocols. The 72-hour exam allows your veterinarian to become familiar with your puppy and provides a point of reference moving forward.
Health Guarantee – This guarantee applies only to serious congenital conditions that significantly impact quality of life or longevity.
