Our Homegrown Heartmenders are a thoughtful pairing of the Australian Shepherd and the Poodle. These Aussiedoodles — or “Aussiepoos” as we affectionately call them around here — are raised with the goal of producing companions whose temperaments bring peace, connection, and joy to the families who welcome them home.

Our focus is on early socialization, calm exposure to new sounds and experiences, and helping each puppy grow with confidence and curiosity.

Our guiding principle is simple — to send home a puppy who feels safe, connected, and ready to become a cherished member of their new family

Because we breed for the home, temperament matters deeply to us.

As our puppies grow, we observe their confidence, sociability, energy, resilience, affection, curiosity and ability to settle. We also use a structured puppy temperament assessment as an additional tool—not to label a young puppy, but to help us better understand the individual puppy in front of us.

We combine those results with what we’ve learned from raising them every day to help families choose a puppy whose emerging temperament may complement their home and lifestyle.

A temperament assessment is a snapshot, not a guarantee of adult personality.

RESERVATIONS:  Puppies are considered reserved once a retainer is received. Until then, they remain available as families are getting to know them.
