Our DRB Australian Shepherds Girl

Mishka is our beautiful DRB Australian Shepherd girl, registered with both AKC and ASDR.

She has always been one of the trickiest girls for me to photograph. Mishka would much rather slip quietly away than be the center of attention, and convincing her to give me those perfect ears is never easy.

In person, she is absolutely lovely. Mishka carries a luxurious, full silky black coat and will pass along beautiful bone, balanced structure, and a nice blocky muzzle to her puppies.

What truly makes Mishka special, however, is her temperament. She is easygoing, biddable, playful, and happiest simply spending the day beside me while I go about chores. With her gentle nature and low-to-medium drive, Mishka brings a calm, joyful presence wherever she goes.

She embodies the kind of steady, kindhearted temperament we value in our Homegrown Heartmenders.

Documentation is intentionally shared privately rather than displayed publicly. This allows health testing, registrations, and program details to be reviewed with clarity, context, and thoughtful understanding during the reservation process.

We take time to walk through parent health testing, litter health records, practices, and program specifics with families who are actively preparing for a puppy, ensuring they’re understood in context and with care.

Once a reservation retainer is placed, families are automatically provided a 48-hour review window. During this time, health testing results, supporting documentation, and registration information are available upon request so they may be reviewed thoughtfully and in full context.
